As it stands, this surfed up on youtube over the weekend. It’s described as “take 20″ of the track “Revolution 9″ and has been dubbed “Revolution 1″ -- it starts off the same as the one we all know off The White Album but this rehearsal goes on for 10 minutes and ends in some experimental awesomeness. Of course, I’m hoping it’s legit and it definitely does sound legit to me but I’m no expert.  Strange how just the other day I was getting brunch with some folks at this cheap-o but good spot in Harrisonburg, VA and they had the Beatles on rotation in the background.  I was struck by just how much I love the Beatles and how they still essentially destroy so many other bands are creativity and composition (Radiohead excepted) within their lengthy catalogue.  Great stuff.

In a hilarious turn of events, Patrick Ervell’s Fall/Winter 2009 line has been getting mad love from all corners of the internet (and real) world.  As such, my hapanigga and friend to this blog, REDACTED has also been everywhere from Hypebeast to Kanye’s Blog to FaderTV:

The Dream ft. Kanye West – We Walkin on the Moon   (zshare)
