I just got wind of this via Kanye’s blog that super dope Japanese artist/director Nagi Noda has passed away at the young age of 35! You’ve probably seen her work and not known it was hers, she did those cool coke ads with the White Stripes, that strange work out video with poodles, those giant human panda dealios “Hanpanda” and a bunch of other ads and stuff. I really enjoyed her work, it was fresh and tite and you know Japanese female artists know whatsup!
