as played out by Laidback Luke.  According to Diplo, who posted the news bout the track over at the Erol Alkan forum, its a joint of the Major Lazer album ft. Afrojack & Vybz Kartel.  Afrojack and Laidback Luke are the only ones who got it too he said…  The future of sound, I swear.

So, I saw Diplo & Switch debut their Major Lazer collaboration the other night in NYC at a semi-secret after hours party courtesy of Le Royale and my homegirl Rachel “Her Royale Flyness” Landry.  Let me tell you, it is the future of party sounds.  When I first read Diplo and Switch were making a “dancehall” record, I had no idea what to expect.  Well it all came together Friday night (or Saturday morning? Diplo djed from 3 to 7 am..) and it sounded so fucking good.  I haven’t heard drums like that in a minute, the collaborations with other artists was top notch and the structure of the songs perfect.  You can totally tell that they put a ton of effort in perfect the sounds and getting the make up just right.  It’s electro dancehall its house dancehall its fucking sick.  I’ll try an post a video TreyxTrey was able to get later..
